Job description

Join the Starship Aerodynamics team at SpaceX to predict aerodynamics and aerothermal environments for missions. You'll work closely with engineers to ensure safe landings and recoveries of Starship stages.

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline required
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required authorizations
Skills: Python, CFD modeling, data processing

The work

Prepare, mesh, run, and post process CFD models
Review post-flight data and compare to pre-flight estimates
Interface with engineers to provide inputs for designs
Write code and scripts for automated workflows
