Job description

You will design mechanical systems for satellites, from concept to on-orbit operation. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to create manufacturable designs and validate them through testing.

Details

Reading, UK, hybrid working with one remote day per week
5+ years of experience in satellite mechanical design
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks

The work

Design and develop mechanical systems and components for satellites
Generate 3D CAD models and fully dimensioned drawings using GD&T
Lead design reviews and plan verification tests from conceptual design to on-orbit operations
Collaborate with engineers to integrate mechanical components into the satellite platform
