You will use your underwriting expertise to help build AI technology for mortgage processes. This role involves collaborating with engineering and product teams to enhance decision-making in mortgage underwriting.

Contract duration: 6 months, potential to extend up to 12 months
4–10 years of experience in residential mortgage underwriting

The work

Underwrite various residential mortgage loan files per Fannie Mae DU and Freddie Mac LP guidelines
Deconstruct end-to-end underwriting workflows for AI modeling
Blind-test AI-generated underwriting recommendations against manual assessments
Create guides and host workshops to transfer knowledge to teams
