Job description

You will use your underwriting expertise to help develop AI technology for mortgage underwriting at JazzX AI. This part-time role involves collaborating with engineering and product teams to enhance decision-making processes.

Contract duration: 6 months, potential to extend up to 12 months
4–10 years of experience in residential mortgage underwriting

The work

Underwrite various residential mortgage loan files per Fannie Mae DU and Freddie Mac LP guidelines
Deconstruct underwriting workflows and identify critical decision points for AI modeling
Blind-test AI-generated recommendations against manual assessments
Create guides and host workshops to transfer knowledge to cross-functional teams
