You will identify and engage with software businesses for acquisition opportunities at Banyan Software. This role focuses on building relationships with founders and owners to expand market coverage.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, hybrid work
CAD $110,000 - $120,000 base salary, overall target earnings CAD $185K - $200K + options
4+ years of experience in business development, ideally 2+ years in M&A origination

The work

Originate acquisition opportunities by researching and engaging software companies
Develop market maps and target lists across assigned verticals
Initiate conversations with founders and senior decision-makers about potential partnerships
Qualify opportunities by understanding company profiles and alignment with Banyan's strategy
