You will perform biological science work using microbiological and molecular techniques in San Antonio. This role involves handling samples and maintaining laboratory standards to ensure safety and compliance.

Master’s degree or Ph.D. in microbiology or related field, or Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience
1+ years of laboratory bench experience with PCR and biological assays
Must hold a valid Green Card or US Citizenship

The work

Handle and process operational and QA samples potentially containing biological threat agents
Prepare reagents and samples while adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
Maintain chain-of-custody and perform routine equipment calibration and maintenance
Prepare technical reports and make recommendations to the Lead Biological Scientist
