Job description

Join Columbus Humanities Arts & Technology Academy as a 1:1 Instructional Aide to support K-8 students. Assist teachers in classroom activities and promote a positive learning environment.

Details

Columbus, Ohio, on-site
Experience in a school or social services setting is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office
Associate degree or two years of college coursework, or passage of the Paraprofessional’s Exam

The work

Support lessons taught by the teacher to individual or groups of students
Help plan classroom activities as directed by the Teacher
Assist with school activities like parent-faculty nights and assemblies
Perform clerical duties, including grading papers and making copies
