Join the finance team at Achievement First as a Senior Associate in Accounting, where you'll manage payroll and intercompany activities for 39 schools. This role involves financial reporting, compliance, and collaboration with various teams to ensure accurate accounting practices.

Details

Salary: $85,295.28
Location: NYC, CT, or RI, hybrid role with in-office requirement at least 3 days a week
Experience: 3-5 years in accounting/finance
Skills: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience with non-profit accounting systems

The work

Record all payroll and maintain intercompany activity for 39 schools
Oversee grant revenue recognition and ensure compliance with GAAP
Prepare quarterly consolidated income statements for New York charter academies
Collaborate with FP&A and school operations on revenue and expense allocations
