Job description

Join the ACLU as a Summer Legal Intern in the Disability Rights Program, working remotely or in Washington D.C. or San Francisco. Gain hands-on experience in legal research, writing, and advocacy for disability rights.

Details

Remote or hybrid position in Washington D.C. or San Francisco, CA
Full-time (35 hrs/wk) for 10 weeks
Stipend of $24/hour for eligible students
Open to U.S. law students who will have completed their studies before the internship starts

The work

Conduct legal research and writing, including memos and court submissions
Assist in factual investigation and preparation for court cases
Support litigation and advocacy efforts across priority areas
Participate in internal meetings and discussions
