Job description

Join Proxima Fusion as a Technician to work on advanced hardware for fusion power plants. You'll be involved in the assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex machinery in Munich.

Munich, work from office
Technical apprenticeship or vocational qualification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics, or equivalent hands-on experience
Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing production or process equipment
Working English for understanding technical instructions

The work

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair machinery across the magnet factory
Carry out preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on mechanical, electromechanical and pneumatic systems
Diagnose breakdowns and resolve the root cause before returning equipment to service
Assemble, install, align, and commission new equipment
