Job description

Join Proxima Fusion as a Maintenance Technician in Munich, where you'll work on advanced fusion technology. You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing critical machinery to support the development of a commercial stellarator fusion power plant.

Munich, work from office
Technical apprenticeship or vocational qualification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics, or equivalent hands-on experience
Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing production or process equipment
Working English for understanding technical instructions

The work

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair machinery across the magnet factory
Carry out preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs on mechanical, electromechanical and pneumatic systems
Diagnose breakdowns and resolve the root cause before returning equipment to service
Support factory and site acceptance tests, installation checks
