You will develop simulation capabilities for semiconductor systems and advanced materials in Menlo Park, CA. This role combines scientific expertise with software engineering skills to enhance modeling techniques.

  • PhD or equivalent research experience in mechanical engineering, materials science, or related field
  • Strong Python skills, with C++, Julia, or Fortran proficiency a plus

The work

  • Develop agent-based structural and thermal simulation capabilities for semiconductor systems
  • Build or extend custom solvers for structural or thermal problems
  • Model materials behavior at the level the physics requires
  • Validate models against experimental measurements
