You will establish the legal function for Emergence, serving as the main contact for legal matters across the portfolio. This role involves building processes and supporting legal operations in a remote setting.

Details

  • Remote, U.S.-based
  • $275,000–$375,000 plus performance-based bonus and equity
  • 3-5 years of legal experience
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state

The work

  • Serve as the first point of contact for legal questions across all portfolio companies
  • Build and operate the legal infrastructure including matter intake and tracking
  • Review and negotiate routine vendor and customer commercial contracts
  • Support legal workstreams following new acquisitions
