Join Basis as the first in-house Legal Counsel to establish a legal framework for growth. Collaborate with leadership on various legal matters while managing day-to-day contracting needs.

Details

  • New York Office, in-person five days a week
  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate or commercial law, plus 2+ years in-house at a tech company
  • J.D. from a top law school and membership in good standing with at least one US state bar

The work

  • Manage day-to-day contracting needs, including reviewing and negotiating agreements
  • Support corporate governance and board-related matters
  • Advise on strategic partnerships and business arrangements
  • Assist with personnel matters such as employment agreements and policies
