You will lead structural engineering for composite structures at Perseus Materials in Knoxville, TN. This role involves taking concepts from design to production while solving complex engineering challenges.

2+ years experience in commercial composites manufacturing
Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering or equivalent experience
Proficiency with FEA software (Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, or equivalent)

Lead structural design and analysis of composite structures from concept through qualification
Perform hand calculations for stress, deflection, and fatigue analysis
Develop and execute FEA models to validate designs and guide optimization
Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability of designs
