Job description

Join the ACLU as a Summer Legal Intern to support civil liberties work in a remote or hybrid setting. Gain hands-on experience in legal research and advocacy while working on critical issues like reproductive freedom and LGBTQ rights.

Details

Remote or hybrid position based in New York City
Stipend of $24/hour for 35 hours per week over 10 weeks
Must be a current law student or enrolled in an LLM program
Completion of at least one semester of law school required

The work

Conduct legal research and analysis for litigation projects
Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and advocacy materials
Support ACLU affiliates and cooperating attorneys
Engage with clients and participate in outreach efforts
