Join the ACLU as a Spring Legal Intern in the Voting Rights Project, supporting litigation and advocacy efforts. This internship is for law students seeking course credit and offers valuable experience in voting rights issues.

Details

  • Location: Hybrid-New York City or Washington D.C.
  • Internship for course credit only
  • Part-time commitment of 10/15/20 hours per week for 12 weeks
  • Open to law students who have completed their 1L year or are in an LLM program

The work

  • Conduct legal research and analysis for litigation projects
  • Aid in drafting legal memoranda, pleadings, and motions
  • Draft and edit public education and advocacy materials
  • Provide support to ACLU affiliates and cooperating attorneys
