Job description

Join the ACLU as a Spring Legal Intern in the Center for Liberty, working remotely or in New York City. This internship is for course credit and offers hands-on experience in civil liberties law.

Details

Remote or hybrid, based in New York City
Part-time (10, 15, or 20 hrs/week) for 12 weeks or full-time (35 hrs/week) for 10 weeks
Must be a current law student or enrolled in an LLM program
Internship for course credit only

The work

Conduct legal research and analysis for litigation projects
Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and advocacy materials
Support ACLU affiliates and cooperating attorneys
Engage with clients and participate in outreach efforts
