Join the ACLU as a Spring Legal Intern in the Capital Punishment Project, working in a hybrid role. Gain hands-on experience in legal research and advocacy while contributing to efforts aimed at abolishing the death penalty.

Details

Hybrid position in Durham, N.C. or New York, NY
Part-time commitment of 10-12 hours/week for 12 weeks
Internship for course credit only
Must be a current law student who has completed the first year

The work

Conduct legal and policy research
Draft memoranda, affidavits, and briefs
Assist in fact investigation
Support preparation for court cases
