Job description

Join the ACLU as a Spring Legal Intern to support the Abortion Criminal Defense Initiative. You'll engage in legal research and advocacy related to abortion care criminalization.

Details

Remote or hybrid in New York, NY or Washington D.C.
Part-time (10-20 hours/week for 12 weeks) or full-time (35 hours/week for 10 weeks)
Must be a current law student who has completed at least one year

The work

Conduct legal research and writing for advocacy
Track cases and issues relevant to the ACDI
Assist with intakes for individuals seeking criminal defense representation
